  1. I love this quote. Upping the amount that I teach yoga and meditation caused me to be more conscious of my own personal practice. It has been such a gift!

    Also, adopting a dog who is very active got me up and away from my computer a lot more often this year. Good for my body and mind to have him in my life!

  2. I don’t really want to answer this question, because I feel like I’m not treating my body as well as I could or “should” or have in the past. I do practice yoga and eat reasonably healthily and meditate and walk and sometimes swim … My intention is to do all those things with more discipline and focus in the coming year.

    Really, what is most important to my health (physical, mental, emotional & spiritual) is meditation. My daily sitting meditation practice (of anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes) is what keeps me sane and balanced.

  4. I started a regular walking practice and walked my first half-marathon in May. I plan to do it again next year with 3 members of my family. Also did Marianne Elliott’s 30 Days of Yoga and am trying to have more of a daily practice. Here’s to better health all around.
